Bar Area
Enter through the decadent black drapes, to Tru's light
and airy inner sanctum. Dominated by the impressive Venus Bleue
statue by Yves Klein, the intimate foray is a luxuriating space
to lounge prior to being seated for dinner. Stocked with high-end
liquors, rare single malt scotches, including Chef Tramonto's
personal collection from the Single Malt Scotch Society in England
and a select list of specialty European apéritifs, armagnacs and
cognacs, the space seats eight persons at the bar, four on the
small banquet and two at each of the two small tables.
Guests often order champagne and imported
caviar and dine at the bar. An abbreviated menu of four cold bar
food items and four desserts also exists from which to choose.
In addition to providing exceptional service, courteous bartenders
impart extensive knowledge while attending to the needs of guests.
This area of Tru also requires men to wear a jacket and is completely
smoke-free.
